FL.IPS meaning “Floating Sips Panels” are designed by Yellow Studio to create outbuildings using Sips panels on an elevated surface. The design is specifically meant to be parametric, versatile and flexible with any clients requirements. The design of the three original FL.IPS lodges have been specifically thought out to ensure the diversity of the design in any context. Using sips panels is an effective method to achieve a lightweight robust wall structure that ensures for a well insulated outbuilding. The advantage of floating above ground on pile foundations is that it eliminates the use of pouring concrete over a piece of land therefore the modular outbuilding can be takens down and put back up in different sites.
