The 13 storey hotel, for Easy Group hotels, a full planning application, in Leicester. The hotel uses a Mixed Use Scheme and provides a plethora of services and activities to the users.
The ground floor, consisting of a banquet and other administrative offices. Upper floors(1-8th) consisted of hotel rooms and studios. Private residences along with facilities like in house gym, library, yoga studios, mini theatre, games room were placed on 9-13th floors. The sole idea was to divide the hotel into 3 zones- public(Ground Floor), semi-public (1st-8th Floor) and private(9th-13th floor), keeping the privacy of residents and visitors in mind.
The facade was designed to maximize the wind movement around the building, using U- pockets, which also awarded an Unique Facade to the Hotel.
